Paradox of the human mind

You smiled at those memories that you once had a share in it. And you wondered, have you really moved on or you’re just plain reminiscing?
Sometimes good things happened too fast, like you wouldn’t believe it is happening either. Perhaps it is the right time, the right moment, the perfect one. It all seems so surreal that you would think about him each day, smiling to see his text while waking up every morning and hoping you’re the first he would text at the start and the last to end the day. Neither do we know, it all ended as soon as everything just seems to work out. But no.
Perhaps if time could let us meet at a later phase of life, it would be, maybe, just right. Maybe if time would rewind, given a choice, I’d walk away.
At the end of the day, the heart will heal itself with time. You go out, meet new people, start conversations and hang out. Build new friendships, relationships and fall in love with the one who loves you as much.
